Bought an overlooked box of Palominos 602 from a “mom-n-pop” art store: $23. Not bad at all, but only one in stock.
Then I thought: “eBay!, maybe they have some cheap priced boxes”:
…$47 to $56… Plus some highly used and brand new 602s in a cigar box for $150. Bleh

Yes, it does seem I use a lot of them (Palominos). The short stubs will be put back in use with pencil extenders.

La entrada "Fauna Fallera", con sus divertidos ninots de animales, tiene una pinta estupenda.
Pero como manda la tradición, se quemará junto con todas las demás entradas la última noche del evento, excepto el ninot indultat.

Freezing outside, kitty get running inside without being told… carrying cargo (!). Poor little guy is as cold as a popsicle.
After he warned up he just stays near the studio’s heater, Kitty is not bothering him, so will let him outside in the morn.

Oh, cool. Art Supply Warehouse has restocked the graffiti Metro/subway trains.
I haven't seen these units in 10 years, but they are still made on soft paper (cardboard paper or thin foam would be much better).

The cleaned-up files were corrupted, so I just took iPhone photos and uploaded them to both Blue and FA.
I am just supposed to fix Steve's underlay drawings, so I don't know why I'm putting so much effort into this.

More assists for my roommate @stevecmartin.bsky.social commission art: The client liked the original drawing but asked Steve for the character to be standing next to the mono interceptor and a more weaponized version of it, so I punched up his ruffs again (Polychromos, 602s, Microns):

If both holders are stuffed with pencil stubs, that's a partial workweek (3 days/2 nights), using 12 field animation paper, Polychromos (light blue), plus Palomino Blackwing 602 pencils,..

This was for a style guide for people to create more art, & (B) If anything, I am perplexed why they removed 2 of Bugs' whiskers, his tooth, and gave him an Atomic Wedgie 🤔
