I’ve said as much during story meetings. What about the children who are already isolated because they feel different. Refusing to show them they matter and deserve to be in stories we see just causes them more pain which sounds to me a lot worse than having a conversation with your kids.

The tiredness is honestly manageable. Even though I kept waking up every other hour frantically looking at the time on my phone because I thought I overslept. 🫠
