Web3 before and after 2023 are two different worlds.

Used to be: solo devs could ride the info gap and land deals. Now? The market’s mature, talent is everywhere, and lone wolves are running out of room.

Saw a friend still building solo. Can’t say much—just, good luck. 🍀

Only the word "abstract" can touch the deepest parts of human thought. Before the era of AI, philosophical reflections... #web3 #ChatGPT
yeah, Abstract, the word I find for a long time. "Abstract" is a platform designed for those who are willing to invest time in expressing deep, thoughtful ideas. #web3 #ChatGPT

You should stay more optimistic—especially about the development of AI.
Let your imagination run wild and bring AI-powered capabilities to your product as soon as possible.
In the future, AI’s superpowers will only evolve faster, not slower.

Last night on the street, I saw a wife pushing a baby stroller.
Next to her, an older woman said: “He needs to transition to an architect role soon. After 30, 35, opportunities will become even fewer. His physical strength won’t hold up for hard work after that age.”

What I admire most about Larry Wall isn’t that he’s the creator of Perl, but the clarity in his eyes and the sincerity in his thinking.

When he talks about how Perl was developed, there’s no preaching, no “tech guru” vibes — just an old playful soul, full of curiosity.

The wrong language can lead to:
– Costly gas inefficiencies
– Security vulnerabilities
– Limited developer availability
– Slower audit processes

Language isn’t just syntax, but it defines how safe and scalable your contracts are.

The best choice depends on what you’re building:
• For DeFi apps: Solidity or Vyper on Ethereum.
• For high-speed apps: Rust on Solana.
• For safer, smaller projects: consider LIGO (Tezos) or Reach.

Pick based on use case, not popularity.

1/3 Some thoughts on decentralization:

Platforms like Discord, Mastodon, and Bluesky—though decentralized in data—now resemble early-stage centralized platforms like X or Facebook in terms of UX and user scale.

I've noticed that every time I publish a new open source project on GitHub, it quickly gets 30–40 clones from unique users. I suspect these aren't real users but possibly bots, scrapers, or automated GitHub partner actions—though I don't have solid proof yet.

Baidu organized an AI Summit Club in April. Its CEO said: AI’s focus should be on specialists, not on the consumer market. The consumer market grows slowly, and the specialist market will double.

When class was over, I went to school to pick her up.
She was crying and said, “The math teacher won’t be teaching us anymore. I can’t bear to see her leave.”
Children’s emotions are pure.
My daughter’s math teacher will be going on maternity leave. After the leave, she might not teach my daughter’s class again.

The biggest feeling over the past two months is that without an AI-powered IDE, I no longer have the passion for writing code by hand. This might also be the main reason behind the anxiety many developers feel in the AI era.
In the past two months, I have been deeply practicing with AI programming tools, completing two full-stack applications and two open-source projects. One long-standing project that I had always wanted to launch has also reached 80% completion with the help of AI programming tools.
