Nice. Will check this out tomorrow (just to be awkward 😅). I’m quite a fan of Texas Sun.

And then quality assurance as something that ought to be a constant throughout that every part of the process can have in common

I think the immediate things that come to my mind are glue work and all the additional tasks that get done to help tie everything together and move everything along that tend to go unseen.

Okay. This could sound pretentious but I think I’d like to hear QA spoken of as a unifier within the SDLC. Both in terms of what people in QA roles do and what quality assurance does.

100% agreed and tbh I wasn’t fully awake when I read/responded to your first post so I might have committed to the risk point a bit too readily 😅 Still important though.

I’m going to have a think on it and do a proper response to your initial question over lunch

To be vague, all sorts of risk. What’s the risk of change in terms of bugs and their severity. Risk of impact on other areas of system. Risk of negatively affecting customers. Risk of poor implementation (when doing the deployment/implementation and after it’s done). bad UX. known bugs. All sorts 😅

Kind of in line with yours, mine would be risk.

My wife had a similar experience and I couldn’t drive at the time. The relief she felt when got it back was immense. It’s massively life-changing
