Is something happening with the internet in general? I can access some sites just fine, while others appear to be at dial-up speed, so I don't think it's my connection.

UGH. I don't know what I did wrong with the LibreOffice update, but all my tweaks are gone and I can't remember what settings to change and I'm just making a bigger mess.

Anyone know if it's possible to figure out an Etsy store's name from an old link? I had a cross-stitch pattern bookmarked, but it's since sold so the link is now invalid. I was hoping I could contact the seller and ask about commissioning a pattern.

I'm tried of sites/apps that require an email address AND a phone number to sign up. It's discriminatory, of course (not everyone has a cell phone), but it's also just annoying. I don't want to give my phone number out all the time.

I probably asked already, but is there any sort of shade comparison chart available? EG: If a pattern was all in shades of blue, is there a chart that would show the equivalent variations in green so you would get the same effect?

Purely theoretical question: Since my username (pith) is a "dictionary word" (i.e., not something made up, like Lothlorien), if a band/company named themselves Pith, they couldn't try to make me give up the account name, right? As long as there's no impersonation/deception on my part?

I'm a trans guy who makes badges, jewellery and sometimes things from polymer clay. My main thing is turning the pages from Harry Potter books into trans-positive badges to spite the bigoted wizard lady. (I'm also planning on bookmarks.)
