I'm not very versed in the alphabet, but apparently this translation is incorrect. Being a phonetic alphabet, the two E's should have different symbols since they're not pronounced the same. Looks like the filmmakers opted for a simpler letter substitution. Still, fascinating attention to detail.

Coming back to this thread! The opening title of the film uses the Deseret Alphabet, a (failed) phonetic alphabet created under the direction of Brigham Young to help unify all of the European converts who spoke different languages, and unify society in preparation for the Millennium.

A wonderfully inventive graphic novel about a world in which wishes are not only real, but can be bought and sold.
