'Broadcasting Freedom from a Futon'
Paramount has basically abandoned theaters for 2026. Their only release of note is Scream 7 in February. That’s it. They just removed the Aang Avatar film from theaters. The other five films on their schedule are so remarkably bad that they don’t deserve mention.

TIL that no one at @theverge.com is smart enough to know what Onomatopoeia is.

“Pauline’s projectiles take the form of comic-style onomatopoeia (e.g., “HA!” or “WOW!“).”

Finally playing through ‘Link’s Awakening’ on Switch 2. I haven’t been this aimlessly lost in a game for a long time.

I need to find someone that’s missing?
Spend an hour scouring the entire map.

Need a banana?
Start a six step process of trading items without any rhyme or reason.

Still great.

ChatGPT seems to be getting dumber and dumber.

For weeks now I’ve had to correct the day of the week it thinks it is based on any date given. It’s also confusing past prompts with new ones, including random data that’s not included in the dataset it’s supposed to be working from.

Any help?

Interesting that Nintendo uses the same bit of video for their ‘official Splatoon 3 Switch 2 Upgrade’ that I said looked like it was running on upgraded hardware.

@infinata.bsky.social, is there any sort of official Star Wars Lore Ladder? Like Live-Action > Animated > Video-Games > Books > Comics.

…or is the answer these are all story’s being told from ‘a certain point of view’ and we should just take what we like?

I see zero reasons as to why Apple should allow Epic and Fortnite back in the App Store. Tim Sweeny thinks he’s won, but he’s been marked as a bad actor. Sweeny willfully broke a contract as pretense to a lawsuit, even if the court agrees with him in the most recent ruling.

Looks like we pissed off @amazonmgm.bsky.social @amazonmgmstudios.bsky.social for not playing ‘Accountant 2’ and ‘Working Man’ at our seven screen, independent theater and now they’re withholding the rest of their 2025 (and possible 2026) schedule from us.

How is this not anticompetitive?
