Hate Brexit, detest what Tories stand for. Getting on a bit, but hey, that's on the physical side, mentally, still sharp as a sausage! Can be known to swear a bit. Particularly after wine!
So @bma.org.uk Sat in an acute assessment ward with an 86 year old in chronic pain who has been told she can't have any pain relief until she's been assessed. This apparently may be several hours as there are no doctors available. I wonder why that is?

Absolutely gutted. Had to pick 86 year old Mother in Law up after her 10 day stay in the Bristol Royal Infirmary, and was looking forward to giving the @bma.org.uk members a good piece of my mind. Sadly, none to be seen. Obviously in the pub, while it had taken her 10 hours to be discharged.

Warning that the roads to the coast will be blocked today by members of @bma.org.uk heading to the coast, while the relatives and friends of the rest of us, lay dying, unattended in hospitals. Compassion or greed. You decide.

I'm absolutely at my wits end as to why ANYONE can think that Farage is the answer to ANY of the countries problems. Has there really ever been a more duplicitous, deceitful, ignorant, dangerous fascist bastard?

Meaning no disrespect to women's football, but I think the penalty shootout tonight, shows a gulf in quality of the gender difference.

It is blatantly clear how biased the press in the country now is, when they have started kicking up a storm about the SEND reforms, before they even have a clue about what they are! Tossers.

Watching Rod Stewart at #glastonbury Is he surrounded by pretty young ladies in very short skirts, because of their musical prowess. Am I missing something. As an aside, his voice has gone.
June 29, 2025 at 6:23 PM
So the Israeli embassy are complaining about the "normalisation" of hate speech towards Israel. Hey Tossers. What about the normalisation of killing innocent women and children, and Genocide in general!
June 29, 2025 at 7:09 AM
So, @reformuk.bsky.social would appear to want to ban women wearing burqas. Why? Is there any logic behind it. It will stop crime, I hear them shout. If that's a serious issue, why not stop young white men from wearing hoodies? Ah, white! I see what I did there....
June 6, 2025 at 7:07 AM
So @reformuk.bsky.social have lost their token non-white person. Farridge will probably be relieved that he no longer needs to hide his racism
June 5, 2025 at 7:48 PM
Clearly re-assessing the means testing for the Winter Fuel allowance is a good thing, but they should also ask a simple question. "Did you vote for Brexit?". If the answer is yes, they should not qualify for any at all, because if we hadn't have left the EU, everyone could still have it!

Labour's attempts to blame rising small boat numbers on the weather are "pathetic" says Shadow Conservative Home Secretary Chris Philp

In other news, here's Chris Philp, when he was Immigration Minister, blaming rising small boat numbers on the weather

No real surprise that I struggle with @reformukscotland.bsky.social supporters. Not because they want change, but because not ONE of them can tell me what Reform would act do, and HOW!
June 3, 2025 at 8:10 AM
Just imagine, however gruesome it may be, if Reform UK ever got elected, and then didn't stop the boats in the first month, which of course they wouldn't....

Newark MP Robert Jenrick is one of the few politicians who can best be described by an anagram of his constituency's name

@reformukscotland.bsky.social has their bot machine in full flow, particularly on Facebook. After every post criticising them, there is a comment from posters, such as "Jack Frost" which just says "vote reform". It ends there, they never answer questions or appear again. Disingenuous Bastards.

Reform UK have identified their next parliamentary candidate

Have to say, if Rachel Reeves is planning to cut the tax free allowances to try and get people to put more money into investments, she had better get the markets stabilised first!

Air Keir Starmer starting to redeem himself after a shaky start. Now start motoring!
May 19, 2025 at 12:12 PM
Watching the FA cup final, and very disappointing that when the National Anthem was played, a few of the players were actually singing. Showing way too much respect to the Royal Charlatans!
May 17, 2025 at 3:39 PM
I'm not sure whether or not Starmer is buckling under the pressure of the job, but I can see him not being in position within 6 months if he carries on as he is.
May 13, 2025 at 10:19 AM
Apologies for the language, but how the fuck is the government going to keep the care industry afloat without overseas workers. Madness!!
May 12, 2025 at 5:04 PM
It's getting quite scary now how much @teamlabouruk.bsky.social is starting to resemble reform UK. I was hugely supportive of Starmer, but he has seriously lost the plot

Brilliant comment on Gogglebox last night, when there was a discussion as to why the supermarket only has white eggs now, and no brown eggs. Comment was "that will be the reform councillors!"
May 10, 2025 at 8:10 AM
Typical reform candidate. All bluster and boast until you actually ask them a real question
