This makes me unreasonable happy.
I do a considerable amt of knitting for donation etc. This discontinued yarn used to be my fave worsted wt for making double layer hats. It's been d/c for a long time. I just found some on a resale site recently. Happy dance!

Coming close to finishing this lightweight lap blanket/crib blanket, which has been in my project basket for months. It will be nice to get this out of my WIP pile and into the giveaway basket. Watching standup comedy specials and knitting a simple design--my idea of the perfect evening!

Sigh. I am marooned on Sleeve Island. Knit knit knit, and it never grows. Started this sweater in 2022 and I really need it out of my WIP pile. (Scrappy sweater based on the idea of the Sea Glass Sweater.)

Someone recently chided me, goodnatured, that my dog really needs a holiday sweater. I dove into the holiday yarn stash and found some sparkly holiday colors, and here we are. #knitting #DogsofBluesky

My neighbor/friend/landlord and I put up a new overhead light in my kitchen and I love it all the more because we did it ourselves. The joy of accomplishment!
It's the same feeling I get from #knitting socks (or any project). Sure, I could buy socks, but where is the joy in that? Is it just me?
