2/2 Soviet rulers were designating what-is-the-truth-today in the daily newspaper called "Pravda" ("The Truth" in Russian), ruler of the US uses something called "Truth Social".
Funny how both the performance itself and the stage props are the same.

The following official Republican Party post is amazingly on-target. The car in the photo is Lada 1200, proud product of the Soviet automobile industry of 1970s.

I wrote recently a note, my 1940 family story, to help people understand better "how to recognize a concentration camp". You are free to use it in any way. The (except the last paragraph due to the 2000 char limit) text version is in the "Alt" description.

2/2 BTW, in an old movie en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_A... poor illiterate Mexican villagers thought that some Western movie described reality. The villagers hired the actors playing the benevolent gunfighters in this movie, to save their village from real bandits.
The US is this village today.

2/2 And an another photo of Radek Sikorski, another front line, another century, the same enemy across the line.

1/Radek Sikorski (Polish FM today) first from left, working with Exen (a renown Polish volunteer/offroader). Front line 2023, when he was still a private citizen. Photo courtesy of an Ukrainian unit, to which they just delivered a yet another convoy of 4x4s from private donations. Nearly 400 so far.

Across the former Soviet Block, the "will of the people" phrase is instantly recognized as one used in those papers explaining why your parents got executed.

Obviously.
Also, that crowd disavows one of the tenets of the US Constitution - that it is the judiciary who says what is lawful. The "will of the people" is a feature of both Nazi and Bolshevik systems, meaning "laws can be ignored".

Far more important is what Musk does. Which, it seems, is to promote the "Iron Sky" movie from fiction to a documentary.

(You see, I still managed to pack a meme into a supposedly "more sober, richer content" post. We are truly "Internet age children").

In the Soviet Block we, "the working people of Poland" were told each morning over the radio news, TV and in the morning papers, what do we think, want, or despise on this particular day. The phrasing was
"The people of Poland demand more Marxist approach by them poets and songwriters" and similar.
