A big male right on the tail of one of the females this afternoon. I don't recognise his bib, but he knew to check the feeder.🤔

Black hoppers have been one of our best flies for 30 years. I did a muddler version today, I've never tried/tyed them before. I Really like these.. 12, 14, and 16's. The hoppers fish great when black midge are hatching.

I intentionally stopped naming my martens, it's difficult when they stop visiting 😢
I'll make an exception, i shall name him Chaos.

This Xega's internal battery is giving up. The solar panel no longer charges it.
This morning I attached a 12v battery and convertor. It's charging 👍

This is a great example of how to tell a female from a male..
The first daylight clip is a female. See how flighty, aware she is. The other 2 clips are males. They are much more confident, not frightened... from anything actually 😁

Finally set up my trail cameras but didn’t get the settings correct.. when I saw this as the only pictures and no video I bit my tongue in two the elk and black bear were too blurred ..
