Queer folk - go do self care. If you aren't involved in antifash work and countering misinfo, then your energy is better sent protecting your mental health instead of being logged onto the social media news cycle.
Honestly, I suggest all my followers take the next couple days off of social media and go do self-care. There's gonna be a lot of bigotry targeting us these next couple of days because of the lone wolf shooter, and if you're not involved in antifash work or countering misinfo, no point to seeing it

I'd be less burnt out without AI slop clogging up search visibility, turning readers off new-to-them authors, feeding my work into machines that are destroying the environment, and inspiring class action lawsuits I need to keep track of. My writing speed isn't the problem.
