That reminds me, I will have to check if howtobasic has posted something new on youtube again. Somehow the algorithm stopped picking up on his videos a good while back.

I mean, mine's from 2017, but Sony (or anyone else for that matter) never made an equally good option for people who like to use the phone one-handed.

This was made for the local hackerspace, which is why it says "Nite" in Norwegian rather than "Ferrule", but...

Yeah, having seen proper aurora on multiple occasions, it's never that pronouncingly sharp and parallel thin lines in that way. Not even close to it. Also, there is no gass mixture anywhere in the atmosphere that will produce white light on excitation so nothing about this is even plausible.

For context, Røvær is a tiny Island 5 nautical miles out in the sea outside mainland Norway. Out of the 100 remaining people on the island after the disaster, 48 were widows and their children.

The people lost at Titran were from several villages, participating in more commercial style fishing.

There's a story here in Norway about the unexpected October-hurricane of 1899. This polar low-pressure moved fast with little warning, first sinking a boat with 30 people returning to Røvær from a funeral, and the day after sinking a fleet of 141 local fishermen ouside Titran furter up the coast.

At least it's just merely a 74LS244. If it took damage there's still millions of these available.

It's just the wrong socket. PCB footprint is still 20-pin

Ok, which fairground-organ are you pumping up now?

Also microscopic solder-tin hairs.

Also note, the reference voltage is not the same as output voltage. The reference voltage is rather multiplied using an external resistor network to get the final output voltage.

Looking at the datasheet, I think any LDO with the right pinout, current rating up to at least 5A and a reference voltage of 1.25V should do just fine. I would recommend looking up a few datasheets of parts you have available.

There's also another difference, in that the MYCRO-1 uses DIN 41612 connectors, where the Tandberg uses just a PCB card edge slot, and the pinouts are very different, but with both being Eurocard the physical placement of the pins/teeth in the connectors are the same.

About 200kr per kg total, if you include the casing and spices. That being said, it was not the very cheapest, but it was pure product and a good cut for sausagemaking (about 135kr/kg, with no added water, salt or anything else. The very cheapest ones are loaded with saltwater and dextrose).

We had a workstation microcomputer PC in Norway too, a good year after the Sphere 1. It lost out of the popularity contest due to mainly catering towards the office market, and failing to adapt to a cheaper lighter build with more general purpose solutions when those started to dominate the market.

Ah, the Sphere 1! The first proper microcomputer workstation, Even supporting FDOS.

In case it's unclear, this is a board from Lars Berg A/S, based on the AY-3-8600. 3 out of the 8 games are selectable.

There's a weird little 1 player vs. machine feature in the external logic here. The left paddle will jump up and down in eccentric ways with a wider paddle when this is active.
