Another one from #USA STARS AND STRIPES 1981. Delay on #NASA's #Challenger Shuttle maiden flight due to fuel leak. I know the O-ring issue has been well documented but there's a lesson here, sometimes a lemon is a lemon and you need to read the signs. 10 flights later, a tragic disaster.

@axe99.bsky.social I have a load of photos of a relative's time serving on board HMS Newcastle, mainly from an 18th month tour of Far East in 1954. If anyone can point me at places I can share these. I guess it's possible some crew members are still alive.
