I too feel you deeply. Even my clients for illustration work are now giving me AI generated slop to use as reference for what they call "their" design. Needless to say I don't work with them now that they have done that. It's pretty rough to lose clients and friends to that kind of thing.

May I ask what your idea generation process is like? I have been running into walls lately drawing blanks ever since a forced hiatus due to a car accident/injuries. I would really appreciate any input!

As an art teacher I can verify this is what kids are like...at least in middle school. Actually this is tame, they usually don't acknowledge the teacher's existence:p

So if it were me...I would really want a partner that nonjudgementally responded to my needs, and I would want to do the same for them.

I mean, frankly It would be really nice to so someone cared enough to take notes and try to understand my quirks. Like...I know this guy I like has gall stones and when we hang out I avoid some foods, doesnt like his picture taken and has self esteem issues he disguises by faking confidence.
