Early in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, when using Olimar's Custom Special move "Order Tackle", by throwing your Pikmin on a fighter who then reflects them, Olimar's Pikmin will be devastatingly powerful when called back, dealing up to 40 damage in a single hit. This exploit has since been patched.

Pikmin 4 is the best selling Pikmin game in the Pikmin franchise! As of March 31st 2024, it had sold 3.48 million copies, a very good sign for the future of the franchise.
