Before I go to bed tonight I wanna leave all of you with "Grândola, Vila Morena". The song of the Carnation Revolution (25 de Abril) and of the portuguese antifascist movement. I'll also link the wikipedia article below

I know Horner was the biggest shit starter at Red Bull and I'd rather we don't even get to this scenario but I wonder if Max losing the wdc came down to an Oscar and Lando swap what Red Bull would do about it...

I know the Strictly producers are gonna pick The Phantom of the Opera for George's Argentine Tango but that song has already been used for an AT more than once on the show can they please pick The Point of No Return? It's literally perfect for an AT and it's CRIMINAL they've never done it

Oscar has made mistakes this season. The fact he lost the championship lead isn't entirely on Mclaren. I'm not denying that whatsoever but there are at least imo 3 very clear instances where Mclaren screwed Oscar over and those points would have put him within a win distance from the wdc
Also for all the focus on Max, Oscar needs Lando to finish 6th or lower if he wins the race. Obviously a more complicated scenario than Max's but for all the talk that Oscar is "destroyed mentally", seems like a bit too small of a gap to me
If Max finishes 1st in AD, he needs Norris to finish 4th or lower. In other words, Max needs another Qatar or Abu Dhabi 2023

I'm sorry but Andrea Stella is one of the worst TPs on the grid and I'm tired of everyone pretending he's not because of his past work, particularly at Ferrari. This man claimed Mclaren weren't expecting everyone to pit under the safety car. This is incompetence, there isn't another word for it

I have something to say: The incredibly negative and pessimistic way some fans have been talking about Ferrari and to some extent even Charles on social media this year in particular is more responsible for Charles feeling the need to apologize than any "Ferrari PR"
Charles apologizing to the fans for high expectations being set and then ultimately letting them down when he has been absolutely exceptional with the car he’s been given is nuts. it is not his fault, and nor is it Lewis’.

Oscar posting a photo of the podium with no caption feels like the point of no return for Mclaren. The confirmation that no matter what happens next week that team is irreversibly broken

This might be the start of Arsenal's yearly bottle. The problem is I'm not sure it's the end of City's 💀

Btw can someone explain to me how that George pitstop was not investigated at all? How was that not an unsafe release?

I will continue to move in silence but I've never been this glad to see a Sainz podium in my life AND THIS MAN DROVE FOR FERRARI FOR 4 YEARS

Not both City and Benfica scoring late winning (I hope) goals

and because i've seen this floating around, this needs to be cleared up:

the reason Ferrari stopped focusing on 2025 so early on is because they fucked up the car this year. full stop. a marginal error on the rear suspension design led to major issues that would not be rectified without a B spec.

Malta que votou Rui Costa, estão felizes?

I really wanna move in complete silence this weekend but some drivers have tracks they are just incredible to watch at and Oscar and Qatar is one of those combinations

Charles' car could be the main character in a Pixar movie about a car who wants to follow his dreams and be a microwave instead

Also the Binotto comparison is just too easy
Newey as Aston Martin TP is one of the funniest F1 news in ages. I'm 100% sure it's gonna go badly eventually. Idk if he'll manage to win anything before it but it'll go wrong. He is clearly power hungry and Aston Martin is just giving him everything he wants. It has disaster written all over it

so there were rumors circulating at the time of Newey leaving Red Bull that he wanted power and Ferrari didn’t like that, hence no hiring him. seemingly, Aston was the only one willing to give him that.

for all the shit Ferrari has received for their operations, i’m glad they didn’t do this

[tinfoil hat] perhaps when Horner allegations first happened, Adrian Newey thought Horner would get fired and Newey would take his place. Horner obviously stayed and locked himself in place, and Newey ragequit and used the allegations as a cover to make himself look extra squeaky clean to the media.

I think I'm pretty objective when it comes to DWTS and dances from celebs I don't like but at the end of the day DWTS will never just be about dancing for me because between Alix and Robert I think I enjoyed more Alix dances but am I happier with Robert winning because of their personalities? Yes
