This seems to be for domestic, not international learners? But yes, if the statements about easiness are misleading, universities have to reflect on their agent training & monitoring practices as they are clearly failing to manage their agents....

Cheers, what's the best data source to use to explore this for international learners? If learners with C/D grades (somr with limited English) are equally successful, then it is really hard to justify those domestic entrance grade requirements....?

Well, the unis fail either way? They are obliged to make sure that any agents they work with give accurate information to students. So, if this is incorrect, they are not doing their jobs. Would be good if samples of the tests/exams & pass rate data were made public to enhance transparency?

They may say that, but they also admit "that the exams were so easy that passing was a formality" and the "course was 70 to 80 per cent easier to pass than the normal first year of a degree"....
