Possibly paper We have worked on longest, filling in details and expanding results a bit. Work first of Abid Lashari, and later in collaboration with Frank Ball and David Sirl, to deal with repeated outbreaks in same network in way that can be made rigorous.
Modelling the spread of two successive SIR epidemics on a configuration model network - Journal of Mathematical Biology
We present a stochastic model for two successive SIR (Susceptible $$\rightarrow $$ → Infectious $$\rightarrow $$ → Recovered) epidemics in the same network structured population. Individuals infected ...

Consider applying to 2nd ESPIDAM summer program on infectious disease modelling, 23-27 June, in beautiful Stockholm! Covering many exciting topics (AI & ID, now/forecasting, networks, within-host models, data analysis...). So much to learn and great scientific discussions!

New paper! Semi- and non-parametric methods are a popular way of analysing infectious disease time series, as are fully mechanistic models - this work develops an approach combining elements of each. (Most credit to the first and last authors!)
