I'm readying Empire of Pain atm (finally got round to it) and this was the exact same tactic the Sackler's used when pushing OxyContin. It's the individual at fault for how they used the product and not the product itself. Think of all the good AI does etc

Honestly aside from Pep we have the best manager in the league by a country mile and all the others are very similar in quality which leads to 2 good teams and 28 others of mid-table quality. I include Maresca in that bunch as well

Best draw we could have got I think
Ireland will face Czechia in their World Cup 2026 play-off semi-final on 26 March.

The winner will advance to the play-off final on 31 March, keeping Ireland’s hopes of reaching the World Cup in North America alive.

It’s like he’s never watched the sport before
Don't really care whether we win or lose but I'd like some more major events to happen in the match so Darragh Maloney can be wrong about them in some way

Vibes is 100% right. Ask the question, if the situation was reversed and Newcastle were awarded a penalty for the same foul would the VAR overturn it? No. So they’re not following rules which is their entire job
So glad we won on Sunday because this would have driven me insane otherwise.

But to your point: seen clips of him completely contradicting himself over very similar incidents. It means they're just going on vibes, rather than actual rules.

I found the people in Vienna quite rude speaking generally
“Worst” would be a lie but I didn’t much like Oslo or Vienna. Wouldn’t go back to either. (The opera house in Oslo is incredible though).
What’s the worst city you’ve visited?

I’ll never go back to Myrtle Beach SC if somebody paid me

Didn’t realise Clint was a gooner! We truly do have the best fans
Martinelli has been transformed by the competition we have for places now. Depth matters.
The spoils are shared at the Emirates.

Arsenal left it late, but Gabriel Martinelli's stoppage time equaliser rescues a point for Mikel Arteta's side.

For the first time in his career, Pep Guardiola goes five games without a top-flight league win against an opponent.

I really like Arteta but he constructs a bench that makes me feel like he feels as though we will need to win the game in the 2nd half rather than close it out. Would rather Eze at 10 than Merino but Mikel loves him some Merino
Conservative line up. If Arsenal don't win that's going to be the story again.

If he was called Robert Atkinson he’d have been given the boot by now
24.1% - Ruben Amorim now has a Premier League win percentage of 24.1% (7 wins in 29 games), the exact same percentage as Neil Warnock (won 27 of 112 games), who was twice relegated from the Premier League. Worry.

Not sure if Scarlet has social media but she was fantastic on this. The whole panel made her point for her at the end.

"Arsenal must win the league"

"Are they title favorites?"

"No."

One of the better fan debates I've seen.

He hasn’t signed yet, we’ve done work on the deal, we’d know how much it’d cost and most importantly, it would piss Spurs off to levels before unseen by humanity. It’s a must!
Hijack Eze?!

I don't think any player should strike over a transfer but I suppose it's more emotional when the transfer involves two teams from the same league. We won't interact with Sporting fans or their team really so it's easy to have emotional distance there as opposed to if Gyok was playing for Villa
How do Arsenal fans feel about how Viktor Gyokeres went on strike to secure their move, and why is it different to what Alexander Isak has done at Newcastle to get his move away?

(Always worth a sidebar for context, this is a question, not an opinion)

Arsenal deserve to wear the shame from how they handled Thomas Partey for a long time.

As supporters, we should be (and people are) demanding an explanation from the club.

There is so much work that Arsenal need to do going forward to begin to put this right and ensure it doesn't happen again.

I see that “transfer guru” Romano has already posted 6 separate times about Diogo Jota. It’s one thing generating likes from non transfer updates but using someone’s death for social media clout is abhorrent

@footballcliches.bsky.social is Brighton vs Fulham the most pure opening day fixture that can be constructed from the current premier league teams?

Aston Villa vs Newcastle
Brighton vs Fulham
Chelsea vs Crystal Palace
Leeds vs Everton
Liverpool vs Bournemouth
Man Utd vs Arsenal
Nottingham Forest vs Brentford
Sunderland vs West Ham
Tottenham vs Burnley
Wolves vs Man City
