Yup, exactly. It's good for review because it can very quickly pick up on things you would know in theory (or fill in gaps for juniors), but you don't realistically have time to go through and think about each day. It's great when you figure out a highly targeted use case built around its strengths.

I would recommend using it intentionally at specific times in your IDE, feeding it an entire module or files of a smaller project to a model like gpt-5-codex, explaining that you want it to provide feedback. Add any high level direction like a design principle or objective of attached code.

Nope. It gives us suggestions on our PRs at work. 2/3 times we just close down its suggestions, and 1/3 times it's technically right but no one cares so it's 50/50 whether we apply it or not

Things move really fast in tech. I got a certificate as a .NET developer, worked in full stack for a couple years, quit completely for a couple years, and then came back and now they call me an AI Engineer, lol

The AI designers over at Microsoft burned a lot of GPUs to come up with this one

If only there was another handheld console capable of running this... 😮‍💨

I'll be working on story. Right now I'm wrestling with an issue with Inkle's editor software Inky for the Ink narrative scripting language, where it's not saving the files properly and/or messing them up on save.

Cool! It's always fun finding new little things an engine can do for you. :)

I'm prioritizing and maximizing for the time I get on my own projects. Lately, it's been working out surprisingly well! Usually it's a few days tops if I'm particularly busy.

Glad I'm moving to Linux at just the right time.✌️

It's tough being in a small niche. Getting word out there and competing for people's time.

All I can say for sure is that I've told some people about your game and I'll be getting it later this week, and I don't do that with just anything :)

Happy birthday and good luck with the launch! Fingers crossed

That's something a lot of people don't get, sure. But as much as your points here are true, I wouldn't want to argue that we necessarily need handmade pottery for everything. Some just want to drink / eat. "Writing" also serves a basic function like that - there's a time and place for everything.
