dipping into someone else's project today and learning to write Tailwind CSS and it is mystifying. Why are devs so afraid of CSS that a class list like this in a hundred places is preferable to writing 6 CSS attributes once?

I'm curious to use Apple's new "Liquid Glass" software design (alternative name: "Screen Spittle").
But so much of what I've seen in their own promotional materials does not suggest great legibility.

No comment, except that whenever I see a really clean web 1.0 text page I check the resources to see how many MBs of Javascript it takes to render a single text column.

I think it’s interesting that Gruber is correctly identifying Apple’s AI software as uncharacteristic vapourware, but believes it’s cos Apple have somehow fallen behind on AI, rather than that everyone’s promises of reliable complex AI assistants are vapourware.
