The beauty of this competition has been the re-embracing of grassroots football culture at a national level. This decision, along with completely undermining the integrity of the match officials, panders to an element of the professional game that most fans would rather see the back of.

The Wild Geese, formerly The Sarah Sands and Bridie O’Riley’s, on the corner of Sydney Road and Brunswick Road. Maybe one or two too many TV’s for my liking, but that’s what the kids like these days isn’t it?

Honestly, I haven’t heard anyone say a bad word about it. Even people I know who were only vaguely into them went along for a giggle and came away with a new found love for the band.

Agreed. Also please let your son know (I can’t see to find TN on here) that I’ve discovered the podcast this season and am enjoying it very much all the way down in Australia. The odd cameo appearance from his old man is always good value too. 👍🏼
