i do appreciate the encouragement but i think it has less to do w purity than discernment. I get why ppl dont fuck w kanye & i think having moral standards is a good thing, im just sad that we apparently cant discern btwn a deeply ill person and an amoral monster. sth sth context death or w/e idk

its just we live in an era where being an icon makes you a resource to be mined to the exclusion of yr humanity. ppl (esp the wealthy & influential) don't nurture that shit they just exploit it for profit

i just ignore the parts that are clearly him losing his mind (most recent song top of the list) but i don't flinch from listening to things like Lost In The World, which is one of my fav songs of all time. not to be all art school bitch about it bust most of the western canon was made by bastards
