anyway i think looking at historical depictions of gay/trans peepo is Good bc it helps give a deeper understanding of the history of queerness, compared to the way that pop culture likes to say that every gay/enby was abject before the 90s (jose maria lopez mezquita, ft tgirl SWer, from 1926!!)
