Had to have been close to 1000 people if not more at the Albany Park Town Hall today about resisting ICE. So many people are running for office, mobilizing, getting involved.

I suspect it lies less firmly behind us than Stalinism and its appeal remains less well understood. As Nietzsche knew, we are living in the ruin of the old value system that with the death of God lost founder and foundation.

1% is insanity. It would superheat inflation, and I don't know how much it would actually reduce Treasury Rates since the bond market would demand higher rates to offset inflation. Their entire Tax bill is a ponzi scheme that falls apart with higher rates and there isn't an easy way out for them.

It isn't a coincidence the dollar is falling exactly like it did when the Bretton-Woods system collapsed and Nixon ushered in Neoliberalism.
