For me, Destiny was a place to do some co-op shooty-shoot with my spouse so yes, getting the expansion was a way to keep playing with them. Once the main story was done in 2024, my non-interest in loot drops meant that there was nothing left for me and others like me to do. Big problem for Bungie!

Thank you for telling me about this! I switched to Apple Music to get better audio quality and a provider that wasn't actively shovelling money at Joe Rogan. I'll gladly switch to a service that pays their artists better, though!

After spending some time recently playing games from around 1998/1999, the prospect of going back to using random developers around the studio seems not too terrible. If we're going back to smaller productions, why not enjoy some lower production value?

Pacific Rim does EXACTLY what it needs to; show big, stompy robots punching giant monsters like a bunch of sumo wrestlers. The cast understood the assignment perfectly, the VFX have inertia, and the soundtrack is an underrated gem! There is no way it could be a better movie.
