This is nuts! Looking at this from a purely safety perspective, this is illegal as it gets. They are using the cover of budget to remove safety checks. How long will this go before a product goes to market and kills people?

The rather horrifying part of this is that the extra estimated ~800/yr will push many families over the edge in terms of finances. We see a large amount of families living check to check and using credit cards as a means to an end. Make no mistake, this will crash
