The data suggests that Russia is using the NK troops in the same fashion they did themselves in WW2. I don't think they equate any strategic value to the NK troops but more of a warm body to throw at the enemy approach.

In the cyber world, we look for indicators of compromise (IOCs). In the physical world, we look for shifts in behavior, sensor detection (1/?)
