betteridge's law: if a headline is phrased as a question, the answer is no

"a game is only late until it ships but it sucks forever" is becoming less true as we get away from physical media. cdpr's disastrous 2020 launch should be a cautionary tale, not proof you can ship an absolute mess and fans will still forgive you if you fix it eventually.

we'll have to see what the final product looks like, but i think it's a good sign that even after multiple delays, R* isn't giving in to pressure from players and shareholders. we saw tons of content cut from rdr2 due to its delays.
