Very important but utterly devastating story about the cruel realities of refugee policies on a family and a little boy's life.
A yr ago, I met Wissam, a child refugee with complex disabilities living in a rubbish dump in Calais. His Syrian family were trying to reach UK specialists.
There are no longer any safe routes for children like him.
A few days ago, he died after crossing the channel.
