The ultimate con. When the neoliberal project fails, after exacerbating inequality to extreme levels and making life unbearable for many, bring in the populist entertainer. Followed by the prophet of doom, to shift blame and deflect from the greed of the real culprits.

Not so much a health disaster, more a feeding frenzy for "chums". The law is designed to protect the rich and powerful, and not just their property.

Which probably explains why a "patriot" such as Putin- and Trump-loving Nigel has gone quiet recently. He is so desperate, he may even be hiding in Clacton.

Even the redacted version is damning if you read it. Our politicians should have reversed the Brexit decision on that evidence alone... Foreign interference exposed.

Next question that will undoubtedly be left unasked: apparently Farage made the same pro-Russian statements in the EU assembly. Was he paid, or did he do it for free?
November 21, 2025 at 2:17 PM
"should" being the key word.
November 16, 2025 at 4:02 PM
Well. She would say that, wouldn't she? This has become a far right position, with Farage, Truss and others, to the extent of supporting a felon who caused an insurrection. Such patriots!!!

Please define "legally"

Having once worked in business consultancy, for a company with a different approach in a specialist area, the old saying is true: a consultant is someone who borrows your watch to tell you the time.

I heard rumours and am not surprised. Starmer is positioning himself as a kinder type of fascist to compete with Farage and Badenoch. Only one leader talking sense at the moment.
November 16, 2025 at 1:19 PM
Wow! I haven't read the bill but wonder if it deals with one of the greatest obstacles: land-banking. How many building companies fund Labour, I wonder? This government is lazy, sloppy and sociopathic. They are competing for an idiocy award with the Tories of the last 14 years.
November 16, 2025 at 1:10 PM
Is Labour planning to leave the ECHR? That's the topic in question. Only a moron would support it.
November 16, 2025 at 11:13 AM
What pills are these morons taking? Is there not already an effective probation period of 5 years until someone can apply for indefinite leave to remain? We should give decent people a fair chance to build a life and contribute to society.
November 16, 2025 at 11:10 AM
A great insight. Not content with capturing many of the world's resources through the neoliberal scam, the rich and powerful must control information to persuade us that the process is inevitable and fair.
November 16, 2025 at 11:01 AM
I'm amazed at the stupidity of Deform UK followers who think that the rules (which they don't make an effort to understand) apply to someone else and not to them. The fascists will come for you and me, when they need to for their own ends.
November 16, 2025 at 10:45 AM
The Act says otherwise. We own the Bank of England and, yes, there is consultation.
November 15, 2025 at 3:57 PM
The greater danger being that Deform UK want the same thing.
November 15, 2025 at 1:36 PM
I'm beyond being shocked by this bought-and-paid-for gang of duplicitous reprobates posing as a Labour party. No more tactical votes for me... Green all the way.
November 15, 2025 at 1:30 PM
Government has the legal power to instruct them.
November 15, 2025 at 11:58 AM
If this government isn't clueless, it is blatantly sociopathic.
November 15, 2025 at 11:55 AM
If Labour hasn't lost their way, they are consciously going in the wrong direction. Pandering to fascists and appeasing callous morons.
November 15, 2025 at 11:53 AM
Why do I find the term Think Tank such an oxymoron? Their credibility should not be taken for granted. Any biases should be taken into account and their work should be subjected to the same scrutiny as anyone else. I declare a personal bias in not trusting Streeting (or any neoliberal) with the NHS.

Yes. The BBC was wrong in conflating two of Trump's quotes, some 40 mins apart. Yet they shouldn't give in to the fragile ego of this narcissist by paying compensation, after he caused the insurrection by claiming a rigged election without proof, before playing to the crowd.
