A return to the historic ruins of Brock Mill, by the River Brock. The site is partly overgrown with some walls still standing in the lush green woodland surrounding it.

On revisiting the site of the Fleetwood wrecks, it was disappointing to see a shopping trolley dumped at the edge of the harbour, conflicting with nautical history.

Haven't decided whether this image will make the cut for my Website, which can access from my bio. The mist had cleared around the subject area and was consigned to the distance, leaving these vibrant colours.

The inversion that helped the fog and mist to stick around, late in December, made a great subject for local photography.

A series of Blackpool would not be complete without a pier. This is Blackpool's North Pier at low tide on a pleasant morning

Blackpool often gets bad press. In my humble attempt to disabuse the doubters, I'll be posting a few images to show some of its magic. Here is the first, captured after the "bandage" was removed from the tower after a few years of restoration. You can see more images on my website photodave.org

The fog from a cloud inversion a few days after Christmas gave the opportunity for local photography. Personally I find this tree majestic, in its winter form emphasising its shape.

That it! No more of Meta products for me. No more of Instagram, as I share photos through my Website. The photo below was part of a series on Pendle Hill, published in an article in On Landscape and available on my Website. www.onlandscape.co.uk/2024/12/pend... and photodave.org/pendle-hill
