Hello! Solo Indie game developer here. Look for "The Curse of Slimetopia" on Steam or Itch.io.
In the image, the left side is before and right is after. It's most noticable with how different the lighting is working. The right side is a lot more subtle.

I would say, as long as you have a good small slice of your game that you are happy for people to form opinions of your entire game from, then absolutely go for it.

If you game isn't going to be free then this is a way to potentially get some 'on the fencers' to buy it.

Question regarding your localisation. Was this just a simple Google translate job or did you have/seek native speakers to assist?

Certainly something I want to have in my game/store page at some point and I guess sooner rather than later would be beneficial.

I'm hoping to do another level or 2 before I'm back to work on Saturday. I intend to push out whatever I get done to the steam playtest on Friday.

As a result, I have now finished roughly half of the normal mode levels. I intend to finish normal levels first, then normal bosses and then follow up with the hard modes.

I have reprioritised the order I want to develop things in order to get the actual playable content out to any testers first, and then work on the story, artwork, sound, music, polish, ect... Afterwards.

Side note to self. I need to sort out the mess of colours on the main menu! 😅 #indiegame
