Going down into the sewers for this level. Done some more art so I can start to get a feel of what the level may look like. Need to think about the sewer floor and platforms next.

Well I managed to make a small start on my first attempt at making some art for my 'Neonscape' levels. This will require a tonne of work but will certainly push my current artistic limits. Hopefully I'll learn some good lessons.

Wearing all the hats is both a blessing and curse.

Art isn't my strong suit, but I'm getting better with practice. It's nice to start replacing some of the placeholder tilemaps with something that brings the world to life a bit. Like this picture... Just seeing actual buildings give me a motivation boost.

Spent a night awake with a fussy newborn. Somehow managed to export my game onto Android. It was more of an exercise of 'can I?' as opposed to 'will I'.
It would require more work than I can realistically put in to get it done on mobile properly. Good knowledge for future projects though! #indiedev
