#Pelargonium 'Hilbre Island' still flowering in the summerhouse. It's a really nice gold leafed pellie, the orange-red blooms are beautiful, but the foliage on its own looks fabulous all year round

For the first day of #NationalTreeWeek a photo from earlier in the year of a young oak that we grew from an acorn found on a walk 🌳🌰

Order placed, I was very restrained and kept my list to 8 plants, subject to them all being available in spring, I should hopefully have Stadt Bern, Dresden White & Preston Park arriving 😄

#GardensHour This week, planning has mostly been about where to put all the plants before the cold weather 🥶

We also have some bulbs still to be potted up.

Looking ahead to next year, would love to grow more Dahlias from seed again, gradually restocking after losing a lot a couple of winters ago 🌱

Today, I've been adding extra insulation in the greenhouse & moving #plants in preparation for the week ahead's weather forecast.

This is the lovely Stellar #Pelargonium ‘Vectis Glitter’, always among the first & last of the season to bloom 🌱
