It’s not complicated. If we don’t extend the ACA subsidies tens of millions of Americans will have their health insurance premiums more than double. If America comes first why don’t we save Americans millions on their health insurance rather than sending $40 billion to bailout Argentina.

Government can not in fact be reduced to a single scalar variable called bigness right-wing death squads are very cheap compared to universal healthcare but I assure you you will feel the presence of big government much more viscerally in a country with the former than with the latter -Sarcasmitron

To be fair there is no world in which Tesla retains their absurd evaluation without Elon Musk. At least in the short term, in the interest of shareholders, the board should pay Elon just about any price to stay on.
Without Elon Tesla could be generously valued in around $50 Billion, not $976 B.
