Maybe *bad* is the wrong word, but if I didn't know what the game was, I'd immediately assume this was a porno visual novel. I hadn't even seen the version with this tagline, which makes it seem even more like this is a game where all of these shiny dudes are going to fuck eachother/themselves.

Have you read Peter Watts' Blindsight? It's not solely about vampires, but damn is it good. A Jurassic Park'd Vampire, a person with a partitioned brain, and other humans with similarly 'alien' cognitions take to space to research something with even an even more alien cognition (maybe?).
