Have some hope. The media is still mostly free, even if some use that to spread these ideas. The obsession with national security isn't what it has been. It's not great, but we're not at its peak anymore

Corruption will always exist as long as there's power to have. I don't think that means we should avoid giving power where it ought to be, just that we should be vigilant.
