reading this it's hit me why this argument rubs me the wrong way: pokemon games SHOULD be better than they are, but there's no incentive to make them so, because the games have NEVER been the actual money-maker for the franchise, and any justification that is rooted on the assumption that-
The reason I hold Pokemon so strictly to Gotta Catch Em All is because they rode that shit to being the most profitable thing that has ever existed in human media history. All promises should be fulfilled forever.
Just feels weird to be holding them to this so strictly is all!!!
