Do WNBA players deserve more money? Absolutely.

Do they deserve the same money as NBA players? You're high on fent.

All of us are working with the information that is publicly available.

Each side of this disagreement will only leak information that supports their argument.

At that point you need to use your critical thinking skills to compare the general amount of money generated vs cost to operate.

That $200 million 2024 number you cited a few posts ago orginated from a bloomberg article that was cited by several other news platforms like the LA times without any actual verification either.

You are also "fabricating" your numbers by reading articles and citing them without fact checking 💀

And also you are counting the NBA shared revenue as part of WNBA revenue if you think they made more than $100 million.

We are having a conversation about how much revenue the WOMEN IN THE WNBA generated. Not how much the siphoned for free from the men 💀

Well considering they have to share those numbers to substantiate their positions to the players union during deliberations I think it makes perfect sense that they would proceed to leak those numbers to reporters in order to bolster their public position.

I'm sorry you can't critically think.

The WNBA generated $100m in revenue in 2025 and still operated at a $50m loss.

You can easily verify those numbers by using Google.

Why are you making up stories about other people making up numbers to prove your point?

Kinda weird.

I don't think the players followed this train of thought to the logical conclusion.

So let's say the league doesn't cave and the players decide to walk out.

What's the plan then? Minimum wage at McDonalds?

There is no competitor league that can absorb all these players and pay them fairly.

Gee it sure sounds like Google is responsible for creating a platform where bad actors even have the possibility to do this.

I just want to say thank you for not paywalling your content behind a decades old movie rental service that morphed into a platform where good ideas go to die.

How about we punish the Bulls for being too incompetent to maintain a safe playing surface on game night?

The NBA is pretending an act of God occurred last night when it was very obviously an act of horribly unprofessional arena managers.

I think you nailed the performance, great job! Hope you don't have a headache 🤣
