That was the one Carnap used on me.
There's a paper at the top of my Philpapers page called 'Can we repudiate ontology altogether?' and I keep misreading it as 'Can we repudiate ontology together?' which makes it sound like the best chat-up line ever

Not as I intended it, but now I don't want to read it any other way!

A new paper of mine, now forthcoming in Noûs!

The first fruits of the postdoc! Check it out if you're interested in ontological nihilism (or just want to know some reasons for thinking that at least something exists)!

Here's a new paper of mine, forthcoming in Analysis. It's on two ways of making precise the distinction between truth in vs. truth at a possible world.

Check it out if that sort of thing floats your boat!

Here's a new paper of mine for those who might be interested. "Modality, truth and mere picture thinking". Excitingly enough, it's my first published piece on truth in vs. truth at a possible world, which is what I did my doctoral thesis on.

The OUP ebook pdfs are always so awful to read. Just a huge wall of tiny text and little silly brackets telling you when you're really on a new page. Don't understand why and surprised I haven't heard more people complain about them.
