How was it? We had a Beatles Day last week - the NT Mendips/Forthlin tour, the Magical Mystery Tour, the Mathew St Beatles Museum, the Cavern, plus the previous day a self led walking tour taking in Ye Cracke, Gambier Terrace, Blue Angel, Jac, Pier Head statue, Dublin St (of course) etc etc etc

My dad was an apprentice at Lairds when the Ark Royal was handed over to the RN in Glasgow. He had a choice to go on the delivery run or go on a blind date with my mum. Guess which he chose?

Ark Royal, obviously, the blind date was postponed until the next week.
