I don't think it's a coincidence that the two best shows on Disney Plus are about fighting Authoritarianism.

I also make pies occasionally. Today, I walked by some nice looking rhubarb at the supermarket, and decided it was coming home with me so I could make a delicious Strawberry Rhubarb pie.

Look, I'm just going to come out and say it, please don't put the vintage Shai-Hulud up your butt.

What year is it? I'm chewing Bazooka Joe gum and watching Square One.

I'm playing Avowed. This is a next-level dialogue feature: The ability to bring up not only the dialogue history of the current conversation, but brief snippets of lore that pertain to it, because god knows, my memory is terrible and there are so, so many things to keep track of in these games.

There we go. I was finally able to make our annual* Snow Bro. This has been a tradition since we got the hat at a JP Licks in Boston circa 2014.

*Whenever there's good snow for it.

I don't care where you sit on the political divide, this is some of the stupidest, most embarrassing shit I've ever seen, and I once wrapped a pretzel-wrapped hotdog in a slice of pepperoni pizza while drinking beer out of a plastic football at the New York New York Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

Feb 5th protests at state houses. Go, make your voices heard to your state officials. Be peaceful but firm in resolve and resistance. My stupid foot surgery recovery won't let me go, but I plan on continuing to call my representatives and other government offices to protest from home.

We're watching Batman Returns now, and I still really enjoy this movie, but it's a lot more uh... sexually charged than I remember. Of course I wasn't even a teenager at the time it came out and could only pick up on like half the subtext

But you're missing one! I know a few guys I've worked with who specifically fall into the mad scientist camp.

My copy of Dice Thrones X-Men, and the Missions expansion came in today! It's a lot of fun! Even my daughter was able to play!

We've been watching all the Marvel Movies with my daughter since she's into them. Tonight was Thor: Love and Thunder. I'm conflicted: the core story is pretty strong. Gorr the God Butcher is great, and Christian Bale brings a lot to the performance. But tonally, the movie is all over the place.

Just wanted to post a picture of one of my favorite characters from #CreatureCommandos. No reason in particular.

I've got a new digital coin. You can buy it for $50 Billion if you want.

#CreatureCommandos, despite its violent, raw nature is masterful storytelling and one of my favorite new shows.

@jamesgunn.bsky.social has easily become one of my most admired storytellers in recent years. No one can take the unloveable and make them loveable quite like he can.

So a while back, my wife put a cute little red hoodie on her car's gear shift. Naturally, I tucked its arms into the little front pocket. But it wasn't until last week that I knew it was lacking some googly eyes and did something about it.
