It has been so much fun to run this. The science was outstanding and the connections that were made will be long lasting. We had it all - breakthrough science, bears guarding the pub and the first snow of the season.

Ryan from our lab presenting his work @cnpn looking at yeast strains capable of producing more recombinant proteins. When we started doing #proteomics we actually found quite important differences between these strains

We've experienced this only when there were selected deodorants or antiperspirants worn in the lab. I can assure you that Old Spice is a nightmare in an MS lab. We spent months tracking it down in the past. Here's the paper that gave us the idea to consider it. pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/...
