Silence in the face of such intimidation amounts to complicity. If even Geneva is no longer a protected space for truth-seeking and accountability, the foundations of the international order are at risk. Switzerland must protest—unequivocally.

These threats strike at the core of multilateral independence. #Switzerland, as host state of the UN in #Geneva, has a legal obligation—under the Headquarters Agreement—to ensure the UN can operate freely and without external pressure on its territory.
