Patron-clientelistic organizational construct. Akin to fascist regimes. organized crime syndicates. Crony capitalism.

A good instance of Technological Citizenship being realized "from below" using soulcraft when governmental statecraft "form above" fails. And when there is the usual market failure from the drug companies themselves.

Informed consent requires being informed.

You could feature my klezmer-rockabilly song, largely in Yiddish, "Honky Tonkin' Hanukkah".

Looking for a role model for a better future?

The future's complicated.

Don't Tex with messes.

To the vectored go the spills.

And charities are being vectored rigorously away from mentioning equity. By Trump. Others.

What about OUR freedom from harm by others due to overly lax governance of diseases?
December 17, 2025 at 2:13 PM
Something's gotta gov.

Libertarian fails. Amid asymmetric power relationships.
December 16, 2025 at 1:47 PM
Just imagine all the insecure MAA hat morons bellowing their approval of Trump's crass statement.

They are the disease in our body politic.
December 16, 2025 at 3:23 AM
Soemthing's gotta gov.

Then. Something's gotta monitor the governors.

Quis custodiet ipso custodes?

Otherwise. There is private greed, self-interest, harm, market failure.

Just think of every insecure, lover of domination, violence and outright cruelty who adores this type of activity.

Narcissistic personality disorder--based upon internal insecurities of the narcissists--runs widely, deeply within the diseased American body politic. I have witnessed it.

"And if you can't find it, invent it."

We have lost a genius, a true American, a mensch.

Coincidentally, I was scheduled to stream Reiner's holiday-season film "The Sure Thing" this week.
December 15, 2025 at 1:43 PM
Part of narcissistic personality disorder is not just domination of others but outright cruelty.

People who are insecure--Trump's useless followers--feel "elevated" above their pathetic statuses amid domination and cruelty.

Diseased. But easily diagnosed.

Is Alabama still in our union? Why?

An instance where Schumpeterian "creative destruction" has given way to ferocious protection by interest groups, legislatures and Governors of incumbent technologies, incumbent industries and incumbent industrial-economic-political complexes or infrastructures.

Stasis vs. optimality.

Ramps and channels to basic survival and upward mobility destroyed by lobbying from wealthy interests seeking exclusion. Who are already engorged by tax cuts.

A rising tide boots all lifts.
December 13, 2025 at 1:39 PM
Sadly akin to consulting--insulting?--firms that specialize in reducing workforces in businesses.

Who have euphemistically, manipulatively replaced the term "downsizing" with "rightsizing".

Did anyone resign in protest?
December 12, 2025 at 1:50 PM
Something's gotta gov. And when it doesn't, media have to rake mucks. So that We the People know where the failures are. And who is profiting from the failures.
December 12, 2025 at 1:49 PM
MAGA. People. Hate. Democracy. Love. Dictatorships. Love. Dictators. Who. Invade. Control. Other. Nations.

Vance, Bannon supports European right-wing parties that are pro-authority, pro-expansionist, sympathetic to neo-Nazis.

This constitutes a dire denigration of the terms and quality of the social contract for the technoscientific society. And of our role as Technological Citizens within this pact.

I have ne'er been to the Concertgebouw. But I have watched films of concerts from there. Lively. Disney? Grand.

I like the acoustics at Carnegie Hall. I once performed at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in a youth orchestra. Very bad. My music teacher, a member of the LA Phil, ne'er liked the DCP.

Fun fact: Frank Gehry once served as the babysitter in Los Angeles for Michael Tilson Thomas.
