May 21, 2021 - in my former garden in East Falmouth Massachusetts: a tawny cranesbill, "Espresso", beneath Azalea, "Gibraltar". The cranesbill in the middle, in back, is "Biokovo", and the other Azalea is "Lemon Lights" (I think). 🌱

🌱 We found this monarch struggling on the ground by a mountainside meadow in Western Vermont on October 12th. It ended up flying successfully across the meadow and over the treetops to the south of us.
