If anyone wants to be friends in real-life, my user name is "Phil".
For clarity, I don't use the hoover on spiders - always trap them in a glass and throw them outside.

It was supposed to be a Christmas present for me, but then it arrived just as we had to shut the cats inside after Bea's surgery, so had litter constantly being walked all round the flat, and wouldn't be fair to use the big hoover around them. Timely, and really came into its own.

It's got a bit more oomph than it looks, but it's still only USB powered so I wouldn't trust it to lift a big bastard without getting right up close. And then you'd have to empty it out of the filter. I'd stick with the Big Hoover for that sort of thing.

Ahh, let me know how it goes! I'm basically finding new things to use it on every day.

Like, some stuff I don't do (like routes or big collaborative raids) but I get why it's in the game, and there's a logic to it, and that's all fine. But Dmax just has no logic, and it's even more tedious when they make research/event tasks contingent on engaging with it.

None of it even seems tethered to the rest of the game - weird battle system, having to keep random Dmax Pokemon in inventory just for Dmax, interacting with any Dmax stop takes 5 mins I don't have, max particle system makes no sense, and don't even understand levelling up max moves. Just nonsense.

I used it for a suit a few years ago and it was *fine*, but last month we had another cat-related duvet incident and was just amazed how easy it all was: pick-up/drop-off at your door, 24 hour turnaround, and bang up job on the actual clean. Nice to have the option in emergencies.

Bea update (see alt text, but in general she's doing great and we're super proud of her).

Why would you question it? You'd be a right dickhead. He was a decent guy, and a genuinely great Scout leader. Then he had a messy divorce, in which it emerged that he'd never actually served. At all. He'd basically catfished an entire village. Got to admire the gumption.

The old boys at the Legion adored him. Every Remembrance he wore a chest full of medals (but not a silly amount), carried the Union Flag in the parade. He had all this memorabilia, showed us photos of "him" in the Falklands/NI. He could tell sombre stories about friends he'd lost and the cost of war

After a fairly traumatic day all round, our baby is home. The vet said she was a superstar. Now for the difficult business of recovery, and in about 10 days we find out how successful the op was. :/
