I was lucky enough to take a post graduate course to be a teacher-researcher with the Open University. I used it in my class until I was told not to. To only do approved lessons.

Very few people care about children, not even their parents. Why else would we keep them in classrooms with no mitigations against repeated infections?

People demanding we scientise education understand very little about educating individual children. Everyone learns in a different way, on different days and during any given day. Too individual to apply general findings with any degree of success.

Why would anyone go anywhere near such people? I feel sorry for those who have jobs necessitating contact with them.

They appear to want child poverty. It keeps the lower classes desperate for work at any job, however low the wage. Always been behind Tory policy to an extent, but even more so after they ditched their caring MPs.

Politicians mostly care about politicians, not children. They don't care enough to work with the teaching profession, preferring to bully us into using their unwelcome ideas.

As a teacher having to sit through collective worship every day I used to upset Christian extremists by telling them such things often turn children off religion for life.
