It is important to me that we take time to pause, reflect, and focus on wellbeing to recharge.

15 years ago today was my last day of 20 years service in the British Army.
12 years in the Intelligence Corps followed by 8 years in the Medical Corps was enough for me so I retired.
I was never really 'army barmy'; in reality I was a civvie who wore DPM to work.

I am proud to have joined the #IIRSM Ambassador Network to support the great work they do!
I like the way IIRSM has a wider perspectieve on risk, their magazine is very informative, and it was the first professional organisation I joined on my EHO journey.

Today's walk around Dovestone was, as usual, great. Lots of people walking their dog - seeing dogs always makes me happier - and lots of safetysigns festooning the paths! Were there too many? Yes! Our great outdoors is made better with fewer signs.
